FTP error with password?

Hey, I did used to have manu admin working on my old laptop for my server... but as I chnaged it over to my other laptop I now get and PHP FTP error, here it is:
0:00 [26.05.13 01:18:07] PHP-Error: Warning in :\Program Files (x86)\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\adminmod original\classes\parser_ftp.class.php:46 => ftp_login(): User name okay, need password.
0:00 [26.05.13 01:18:07] !! Error: FTP error: Login failed with user *****

I obviously blanked my FTP name out. I have got a password in the config.cfg but it wont work! its been frustrating me for weeks. This used to work with my other laptop but it wont work anymore... Can anyone help me?

In the config.cfg the FTP is like this(blanked pw/name/ip):
[ftp]
enabled = 1
host = "xxx.xx.xxx.xx"
port = 21
user = "*****"
password = "********"
passive = 1

They are all filled in correctly with the real ip and the real password/username and port. I thought it was say exactly what yo said but i have checked it multiple times as ive been trying it for a good few weeks.

PS: Ive tested it with 0.11.4 and 0.11.3 and it doesnt work with them either it keeps refering to:
parser_ftp.class.php:46 => ftp_login():
