Hello. I made a COD4 server yesterday with a friend running on a PC at his house. We use XAMPP and I followed the wiki thoroughly while setting everything up yet I managed to produce a bug in some odd way, so perhaps anyone here can help me out a little?
The bugs:
When ANYONE gets a killingspree instead of saying, for example :
"PLAYER got 5/10/15/20 kills in a row"
it instead says
"PLAYER has 10 deaths in a row"
(not exactly what it says but I think you know what I mean).
When announcing the map it sometimes say:
"Next map: Unknown (unknown)" but no "!skip"
Then it announces the correct map and gametype and you are able to type "!skip" to skip it, but after a while it says "Next map: Unknown (unknown)" again. This continues on forever on every map even if I restart the mod.
I have also seen people on other servers with this mod being able to type only a part of a players name to kick him/her however it doesn't work for me. Example:
I type "!vote kick PLAYER" and the player gets a votekick started on him/her. If I type "!votekick PLAY" nothing happens. I have seen other servers where one only needs to type "PLAY" for a vote against "PLAYER" to be started. Any ideas to why this doesn't work? Do they use a custom-made Manu admin mod perhaps?
I used the config generator that the wiki linked to and far as I can tell I set it up correctly. I re-did it too.
