  • Can't startscript for some reason.

    Hello,

    We have a Linux server, here's what we've done.

    1. edited config to our liking.
    2. uploaded all files to the correct directory, (in our case it was /.gameservers/cod4_9/adminmod)
    3. Changed the startscript's directory to be correct.
    4. logged into SSH, and CD'd to the correct directory, aka (cd /.gameservers/codr4_9/adminmod), that part is fine, and by doing LS we can see startscript. However, any attempt at executing it fails. There's no error unless a syntax error is typed. aka

    chmod +x startscript and also chmod +x startscript.sh

    works, but it doesn't do anything except bring up a new blank line. And if you join the server and type !admintest, nothing is running.

    It seems we're missing an obvious, but yet equally annoying step.?

    If you could help i'd really appreciate it, we're having a hard time trying to setup a snipers only server.
